Creativity can be an important therapeutic tool. There may be times when you or I think that an experiential or creative way of exploring something will be more helpful than simply trying to talk about it. Some of the methods I have used include sandtray, dialogue based mindfulness or active imagination, art, story or journaling, or somatic tools.
